Market Data
Working with its own staff of analysts, industry data collection programs, and research affiliates the world over, the SEMI serves its members with a variety of services to help plan and grow their business:
- SEMI offers FREE photovoltaic database for members
Our Global Photovoltaic Database provides one-click access to many of the most important organizations in PV. Members can find detailed information on equipment makers, materials suppliers, and component manufacturers anywhere in the world, including capacity plans for each manufacturer (where available). SEMI PV Group continually seeks data on companies to include in this knowledge base.
- The Photovoltaic Technologies, Equipment, Applications, and Markets report offers a full description of the industry’s markets, technologies, manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials, as well as key figures, analyses, and useful tools for strategic decisions.
- Articles and presentations are available at www.semi.org.
Events
SEMI unites professionals from every part of the photovoltaic supply chain, so everyone can exchange ideas, build networks, and move the industry forward. We connect you through a wide range of venues:
- At the popular Photovoltaic Fab Managers Forums, device manufacturers discuss their most pressing issues with materials suppliers and equipment makers. Topics range from silicon feedstock to cell and module production.
- Technical programs (like our Advanced Photovoltaic Manufacturing Technology Conference) enable engineers and designers in all phases of PV to track the state-of-the-art and bring ideas back to their own businesses.
- Through symposia, exhibit opportunities, company presentations, and other formats, PVJapan and regional SEMICON® events maximize exposure for participants and keep them informed of the latest industry trends.
- Groups such as Executive Roundtables and the Silicon Manufacturers Group bring together professionals to network and exchange ideas.
- SEMI members strive to create partnerships with regional PV associations in order to reflect the global view in the local market.
In all these services, we build on SEMI’s record of providing accurate, reliable market information for more than 30 years. As new opportunities arise, we will continue to prioritize, source, develop, and investigate issues for the global PV supply chain—at a level unmatched by any other association.
