About PVJapan 2008
Co-organized by Japan Photovoltaic Energy Association (JPEA) and Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI), PVJapan 2008 is a new, comprehensive solar power event in Japan dedicated to all fields of photovoltaic technology and all segments of the global solar industry. The exhibition, symposium and networking events will run from July 30 – August 1, 2008 in Tokyo.
Solar cell manufacturers, equipment and materials suppliers, and other PV-related companies from around the world will be exhibiting at the trade show; the JPEA Symposium on Photovoltaic Generating Systems will feature leading experts on photovoltaic technology, business, advocacy and policy related to adoption of solar power.

PVJapan 2008 will be powered by solar-generated electricity from the PV Owners Network of Japan.

Seminars at PVJapan
4th Annual Symposium of the AIST Research Center for Photovoltaics
AIST Research Center for Photovoltaics will hold their 4th annual symposium presenting research activities and achievements in fiscal year 2007. Topics incluce solar cell technologies using c-Si, thin film Si, compound semiconductors, organic materials, characterization technologies of solar cells and systems and their transfer to the private sector. Recent activities on the calibration of reference cells and regional and international collaboration will be also reported.
